In the next stage of the Veerenni quarter, we carried out the insulation works on the roof slab of the underground car park at Pille 4. The expansion joints running through the structures were sealed with epoxy adhesive and the thermoplastic joint tape ASO-Tape. For waterproofing the roof slab of the underground car park, we used the self-adhesive membrane Köster KSK SY 15. The waterproofing was covered with a drainage layer, and the thermal insulation was made with the XPS material Finnfoam FI-300 Drain 200 mm. On top of the insulation, we installed the Delta-Terraxx drainage mat, which directs most of the rainwater into the ground, prevents the insulation from getting too wet and also stops soil and roots from penetrating the insulation.
